Ladies, we are so blessed now. Being the silly inquisitive little girl, I always wondered what those things were hanging off my Mom's bulky Kotex pads or sanitary napkins (remember those lavender box with the K on it?). Now I know. They were to hook or pin on to a sanity belt/apron. That time I was still too young to realize what menstruation is and I was bewildered.... what on earth are those?

In those times it was called the sanitary apron/belt.

Well, I have come across, not ONE but TWO Vintage Sanitary Belts. If you are curious, have a gander. These are from the 1920's to 1930's because of the style and pricing ($.25 cents!) Vintage lingerie, bringing back romance and femininity again. What a fabulous treat I have for your lingerie collection and a true little treasure to cherish for many years to come. The color is what I describe as MINTY GREEN/BLUE (color may vary from monitor to monitor), and created in 100% nylon. This has DOUBLE CHIFFON (2 layers SHEER NYLON). Dainty straps embellished with RHINESTONES and along the double sheer nylon bodice, all BEDAZZLED WITH RHINESTONE. Empire waist that is fit for a princess and HUGE FLOWING FULL SWEEP SKIRT of 176 inches around (that is nearly 15 feet around sweep). This has double chiffon piping attached ties that are tied around the back. Vintage items are rarely flawless and most have normal to little wear, minor picks/pulls in areas or a small age discoloration spot or two etc. This particular beautiful piece has no flaws, very minor picks/pulls present normal for handling/age. I do not see any rhinestones missing, maybe one, however I spot none missing!

Vintage items are rarely flawless and most have normal to little wear, minor picks/pulls in areas or a small age discoloration spot or two etc. This particular beautiful piece has no flaws!!!

What a fabulous treat I have for your lingerie collection and a true little treasure to cherish for many years to come. The color is what I describe as BLACK with PINK SATIN RIBBON (color may vary from monitor to monitor), and created in 100% rayon satin.

This has EXQUISITE LACE that is reminiscent of ANTIQUE FRENCH STYLE LACE WITH PINK SATIN BRAIDED THROUGH IT. The hemline is matching with the same pink satin trim. BIAS CUT AND BIAS HEMLINE creating a SULTRY MERMAID STYLE appearance. Pink satin bow is pinned on (yes, this is normal and how it was done, not sewn on).

This mellow, luxurious texture is a truly amazing achievement...a fabric of seeming contradictions. It's supple as a sheer, yet opaque as a crepe; it's soft, delicate, lovely yet thoroughly washable and serviceable!
