Rogers Lingerie Company...yes, as in GINGER ROGERS. She owned a lingerie factory in Rock Island Tennessee, called Formfit Rogers and then later Rogers. I have had the great honor of selling some of her FormFit Rogers gowns myself. Enjoy some of these Rogers advertisements where...EVERY MAN WANTS HIS WOMAN ON A PEDESTAL! And BY GOLLY every woman should be up on a pedestal. I giggled when I saw these vintage lingerie adverts by Rogers. What a fabulous treat I have for your lingerie collection and a true little treasure to cherish for many years to come. The color is what I describe as BLACK with PINK SATIN RIBBON (color may vary from monitor to monitor), and created in 100% rayon satin.

This has EXQUISITE LACE that is reminiscent of ANTIQUE FRENCH STYLE LACE WITH PINK SATIN BRAIDED THROUGH IT. The hemline is matching with the same pink satin trim. BIAS CUT AND BIAS HEMLINE creating a SULTRY MERMAID STYLE appearance. Pink satin bow is pinned on (yes, this is normal and how it was done, not sewn on).

This mellow, luxurious texture is a truly amazing achievement...a fabric of seeming contradictions. It's supple as a sheer, yet opaque as a crepe; it's soft, delicate, lovely yet thoroughly washable and serviceable!

This has 2 LONG SATIN RIBBONS with LOTS OF PLEATING RUFFLES along neckline and hemline. HAND'S DOWN, ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE NIGHTIES OF ALL TIMES! Fabulous FIT AND FLARE with such great design with SHEER CHIFFON OVER SILKY SOFT, BUTTERY FEELING NYLON lining creating 2 LAYER NYLON!

Vintage items are rarely flawless and most have normal to little wear, minor picks/pulls in areas or a small age discoloration spot or two etc. This particular beautiful piece has no signs of wear, no tears, stains or holes. Maybe a nylon pick from handling, but I don't see any.. In STUNNING, GORGEOUS CONDITION.
